Hello to all,
I am pleased to announce the first annual Virginia Hickory Open. The mission statement for our organization is “To enjoy and promote hickory golf in Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic”
With that in mind our first event will be held at Capon Spring and Farms in Capon Springs, WV www.caponsprings.net . This is a wonderful old course that has not been changed since it opened in 1936. More information will be coming out soon but the basics are. Practice round on Friday May 18th, tournament Saturday and Sunday. Prizes will be given for both net and gross divisions. This will be an individual stableford tournament. The cost will be $475.00 which will include two nights lodging, golf with carts, 2 meals on Friday and Sunday and three meals on Saturday, happy hour Friday and Saturday.
If you want to come in on Thursday for an additional $99 you get golf, steak dinner and lodging. For non-golfers the cost will be $325.00 for two nights.
